Coaching for me, has never been about delivering a session and moving on. It’s about presence. Care. And staying with someone long enough for something real to shift. Over the years, I’ve chosen to work this way intentionally.
That often means going beyond what’s formally schedule or expected – extra time, additional check-ins, follow-up messages, community coaching, shared tools, reflections, voice notes and resources offered freely when they feel genuinely supportive. Many of the most meaningful breakthroughs don’t happen inside a neat container. They happen in the margins – when someone feels seen, steadied, or reminded of who they are beneath the noise.
Because of this, I’m often asked “You’ve gone above and beyond – what’s the best way to show my appreciation?” The simplest and most powerful way is always through words… a heartfelt message, a reflection shared or a thoughtful review. Reviews help others who are searching – often quietly – to find their way here. They also help me understand what truly landed, what mattered and what made a difference. That kind of feedback is invaluable.
And sometimes, clients ask if there’s another way…
If a coaching conversation, a community session, a moment of clarity, or simply the space that was held for you genuinely helped – and you feel moved to acknowledge that – you’re welcome to buy me a coffee as a small gesture of appreciation. That isn’t a fee. It’s certainly not expected and it’s never required. It’s simply a quiet way of saying “That mattered to me.”
Every coffee is received with genuine gratitude – not as a transaction, but as a human exchange. A moment of appreciation that supports the work continuing in the way it always has: generously, consciously and with care.
However you choose to express your thanks – through words, reflection or a simply gesture – please know it’s deeply appreciated. Thank you for trusting the process. Thank you for showing up for yourself. And thank you for being part of the Engage with Success community.
